Terms of use

Yobaai helps people find and list houses, apartments, rooms, offices and land in Juba to rent, lease, buy or stay in for a short time. We are not a party to any deal between users: we do not own the properties, we are not an agent, and we do not handle payments. Any agreement or payment is between you and the other person.

• You must be 18 or older.
• Use your real name and a phone number that belongs to you. Don’t pretend to be another person or business.
• Keep your password and verification codes secret. You are responsible for what is done with your account.

• Only list property that you own or are allowed to rent, lease or sell, and that is really available.
• Describe it honestly: real photos of that property, and the correct price, location and details.
• Mark it rented or sold as soon as it is taken.
• We may review, hide or remove any listing.

You must not post, send or do any of these on Yobaai:

• Scams or fraud: fake listings, asking for “viewing fees” or deposits for property you can’t rent or sell, or fake documents.
• Harassment, threats, bullying or hate speech.
• Sexual content, violence, or anything illegal.
• Spam: unwanted messages, adverts that are not about property, or the same listing posted many times.
• Other people’s personal information without their permission.
• Pretending to be someone else, or to be Yobaai.
• Trying to break, overload or get around the security of Yobaai.

If something is wrong, tell us: use “Report this listing” on a listing, or “Report” in a chat to report the person you are chatting with. Our team reviews every report. We may remove content, and suspend or close accounts that break these terms, with or without warning. A suspended account sees the reason when it tries to sign in.

See a property in person before you pay anything, and check documents before you buy. Read our Safety tips. We do not check every listing or every user. The verified badge means we checked an identity document; it is not a guarantee about the person or the property.

You own the photos and text you post. By posting them, you allow Yobaai to show them on the website and in the app, including in previews when listings are shared, for as long as they are on Yobaai.

We work to keep Yobaai running and accurate, but we provide it “as is”: we cannot promise it will always be available or free of mistakes. We are not responsible for what users post or say, or for deals between users. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for any loss from using Yobaai or from dealing with other users.

You can delete your account at any time: see Delete your account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

We may update these terms. When we do, we change the date at the top, and for important changes we tell you in the app. If you keep using Yobaai after that, you accept the new terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Sudan.
